MBCT - Mindfulness-based cognitive stress reduction training

Mindfulness-based cognitive stress reduction training is an eight-week program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, burnout and other stress related mental issues. MBCT uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling and action. The 8 week program uses cognitive behavioral therapy methods in collaboration with mindfulness meditative practices to reduce stress level, worry and rumination, and to increase attention skills and develop emotional regulation.
